Social Media Manager

We are looking for a full time female social media manager assistant. Must have EXCELLENT English writing skills and superb attention to detail and knowledge of functionalities in Canva + TikTok + Instagram with an eye for design (feminine types of design only!) and creative flair. Hours are flexible, but we require daily outputs including weekends.

REQUIRED Skill sets:
- Excellent English written skills. At near perfect or perfect. Having excellent writing grammar is extremely important to us. Your role will require a lot of authentic/creative commenting on other people's social media posts.
- MUST have stable internet connection, a smartphone, and be able to communicate in real time. MUST have back up internet connection.
- MUST have some experience in Writing (i.e., blogs, articles, product description, social media captions, or other writing experience such as journalism in school and etc.)
- Must have knowledge in basic video editing (adding caption text, images, transitions to videos)
- Basic knowledge of Canva, with an eye for feminine design.
- Must pay attention to detail
- Must be able to problem solve and think outside the box instead of only waiting for instruction
- Marketing/social media management knowledge a plus but not required. Copywriting experience a plus. Basic knowledge/experience on how to grow Instagram and TikTok followers is a plus but not necessary.

Job Responsibilities:

- Actively engage, reply, monitor, and create thoughtful social interaction within our communities across all social platforms.
- Maintaining our active social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Editing and creating videos for tiktok and instagram reels
- Curating images, videos, and graphics for our instagram
- Contribute to the creation of original content and source user-generated content relevant to the brand.
- Strategize ways to drive traffic to our website through social media and encourage follower growth across our platforms.
- Growing our IG followers organically through strategies such as using hashtags, reels, and other creative ways -- always willing to learn the most updated ways to organically grow our instagram and keeping up with trends
- Assist lead social media manager to plot social media calendars based on promotions, and branded content releases.
- Assist lead social manager in managing and creating promotions, giveaways on our instagram and email
- Assist lead social media manager in filling out weekly, monthly, and quarterly social reporting, set goals and KPIs for continuous improvement.
- Assisting lead social media manager in expanding our influencer and affiliates program

There is always room to grow in this position, and bonuses for excellent work performance. Hours are flexible and after training, you basically set your own schedule, but this is NOT an easy job even though hours are flexible. We are only looking for people that are serious and dedicated to their role and tea ---------- mbers that always go above and beyond their duties. This job is for people that are detail-oriented, dedicated, and able to perform under pressure and deadlines. If you have poor English grammar, DO NOT apply.

This is a full-time position (40 hours a week, overtime as needed, time tracked on hubstaff app, paid overtime if you work over 40 hours), but we are flexible with actual working times. We care more about progress and productivity, than clocking in and out. Although hours are flexible, you will be required to work daily including weekends (about 2-4 hours a day on Saturday and Sunday or as necessary). Hours are flexible, therefore you have the opportunity of working daytime your time!

PLEASE NOTE: THE FIRST 2 MONTHS ARE PROBATIONARY PERIOD. THEREFORE SALARIES DURING PROBATION PERIOD IS $450 USD/MONTH. AFTER PASSING 2 MONTH PROBATION PERIOD, SALARIES WILL BE $500-$550/MONTH WITH PLENTY OF ROOM FOR RAISES BASED ON PERFORMANCE

3. Attach screenshot of your internet speed test showing the mbps and state your backup internet speed and method.

4. Attach samples of design and past works to your application via either a google drive or a dropbox link. We prefer feminine/chic designs. Specifically, we are looking for social media management tasks previously completed, blogs, magazine, product, edited videos, or graphic designs.

5. Choose one of our recent photos on Instagram (instagram handle is mytherabox) and write a mock up comment reply on it (provide the link of image you plan on replying to). Your reply should be engaging, and it should be a thoughtful reply comment. This is what you will be doing when you comment on other instagrams in the future to build engagement, so this mock up task is to showcase your ability to write thoughtful comments on other's instagram posts.

6. Curate 3 photos that you think would look good on our Instagram based on our current Instagram aesthetics, and write CAPTIONS for each photo. You can also use original designs of your own instead of other people’s photos.
