10X Ventures is a startup studio that builds companies in a pragmatic, calculated way. We run a wide range of experiments across a variety of products and services. We’re building a lot of different things: saas tools that solve extremely specific needs and some for broader use; newsletter networks that people want to receive and we’re proud to publish; consumer tools and games across a variety of interests. Some of these will work really well and grow into larger companies on their own. Many will fail. The team uses data to optimize toward winning formulas & building a network of successful standalone businesses.


Role: Project Manager
Full time (30-40 hours / week)
Hours: Flexible

What you’ll do
- Works with engineering managers to assign tasks
- Manage jira/keep Jira updated
- Follow up with devs to complete their tasks
- Helps identify blockers and raise them to the team
- Works with eng managers to set the sprint and schedule
- Manage JIRA multiple boards
- Identify tasks and priorities
- Sprint Planning
- Set Project milestones
- Create and update tickets
- provide Acceptance Criteria for QA's
- Manage JIRA integrations/tools

Qualifications
- Eagerness to learn and look for opportunities
- Be extremely comfortable with learning from failed experiments and throwing away code
- Keep each project details confidential, we’re trusting each other as partners
- Comfortable using git and having code peer reviewed
- Willing to explore alternative implementations of features
