Software Developer

Voltech Instruments seeks a broad skilled software developer to maintain, improve and create internal test software used internally to the company to automate test and type test of our products.

We design and manufacture power electronics test equipment for industry for inductors and transformers - please see ----------

This is a variety of desktop based Windows software written in a dotNET environment.

Skills:
Proficient in dotNET programming , Visual Basic, C#
Working knowledge of SQL queries to also save the test results to SQL.
Real life experience of , and able to work with, existing coding and debug or amend, or create new applications from scratch
The majority of software communicates with our equipment (RS232 / USB / Ethernet) and other test equipment, so experience of control of measurement instrumentation, and manipulation of results data is highly preferred.

Overview:
Improve stability and performance of in house test software
Add new features to existing test software as we create new customer features, so that our inhouse test environment can be used to constantly check product ---------- e our Dynamsoft source control software to maintain source code and versioned releases of software for in house use.

Time:
40 Hrs a week.
Working with staff in UK and PH, / Initially PH time 16:00 to 01:00, but can be flexible longer term to 13:00 to 20:00 (1 hr lunch)
Rate 10 US$ /HR +
