Senior Java Developer - Groovy

This is an exciting opportunity to join a Dynamic fast paced Tech company based in Australia focusing on Digital Transformation, Cyber Security, A.I. and Analytics. We are looking for Developers who are experienced in Java and can migrate existing Java-based code to the Apache Groovy language for the Java platform and are experienced in testing and remediate any issues as part of the migration process.

You must be experienced in working within large enterprise and government organizations, migrating existing products using Java developed extensions over to Oracle Cloud (SaaS), where Oracle is mandating the tighter and more stringent security of Apache Groovy to support the ---------- velopers would also require skills in the design and development of new code in Groovy.

There may be cases where:
1. existing Java objects will not migrate and therefore need to be redeveloped, or
2. new requirements are in scope, and Apache Groovy based development in Oracle SaaS is required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
-Write well designed, testable, efficient code.
-Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications.
-Prepare and produce releases of software components
-Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural ---------- cation and Work Experience:
-With a minimum of three (3) years of experience as Software Developer.
-Experience in Java Development and Apache Groovy.
-Must have an experience with Java to Cloud Migration.
-Experience in Oracle SaaS is essential.
-A good understanding of Apache Groovy features such as closures, dynamic typing and scripting.
-Experienced of Java Frameworks such as Spring and hibernate.
-Experienced in Grail Plug-ins (Spring Security, Fields, Asset Pipeline, etc.)
-Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM Technologies.
-Agile Test-Driven Development experience.
-Attention to detail.
-Excellent problem-solving skills.
-Time management and ability to deliver to deadlines.
-Excellent communication skills.
-Proactive in approaching management and tea ---------- mbers with possible issues
