New Dawn Films is seeking a savvy Social Media Manager to increase our brand awareness.

JOB DUTIES

1) FACEBOOK
- Complete 3 posts during the work week and 1 on
Sundays.
- Always include an image or video.
- Text should encourage audience engagement.
- Posts should be no more then 250 characters.

2) LINKED IN
- Complete 4 posts per week
- Connect to 50 people per week.
- Endorse 50 current connections on their skills per week including anyone who’s endorsed Andrew.
- Find 5 companies/groups that are in the media/video world and connect per week.

3) TWITTER
- Tweet 5 times a week.
- Follow 50 people per week within our market.
- Ask to be re-tweeted frequently.
- No more then 2 hashtags per tweet.
- Use hastagify.me to find the best hashtags to reach our audience.

4) INSTAGRAM
- 4 posts per day
- Utilize wordswag.com on at least 1 post per day.
- Websta.me to figure out what’s trending and who to follow.
- Follow 400 people/businesses /day (in our niche when possible)
- Unfollow people that don’t follow us back by using crowdfireapp.com
- 400 moves a day. Keep liking people and if they don’t like us back de-friend them.

5) GOOGLE+
- Post 4 times a week
- Follow 300 people/companies per day
- Anyone who follows us, follow them back.
- Join 15 communities/day

JOB OVERVIEW

Your overall goal will be to increase brand awareness for New Dawn Films through social media with a focus on connecting to the New York City market. We want people to ultimately come to our website and view our work and remain relevant in their minds for when they have video production needs.

To achieve this we are looking to engage with people in and around our industry. New Dawn Films wants to be known as the leading provider of video production work in New York.

All of our social media is connected via hootsuite so it’s easy to schedule and connect our social media outlets.

Once every 2 weeks we’ll provide you with photos and videos of current work we are creating to help with posts, but in general you’ll need to create original content on a daily basis and schedule posts throughout the week. They can be the same posts/variations of them for every social outlet and they should focus on the following areas.

- Showing New Dawn Films work.
-Great video examples of cutting edge work from around the world.
-Video statistics information that encourage companies to produce videos to help their brand grow.
-Promote businesses within our industry as well as influential people.
(all posts should aim to engage, entertain and inform the audience)
