F8 is technology consulting firm looking for a project manager with strong knowledge of MICROSOFT PLANNER and a positive attitude to help our engineers support clients in the North NJ/NYC Metro area.
The primary responsibility of this position is all about coordination and communication. You need to have an innate ability to anticipate needs and actions of both clients and internal team. First you will be responsible for coordinating various parts of an opportunity from start to finish. You work side-by-side with engineers to ensure that project run as smoothly as possible for the client. This includes daily interactions with vendors to negotiate pricing, confirm shipment details and research product information as

WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY FOR THE POSITION
· 3-4 years Microsoft Planner experience, preferably in managing computer hardware rollout projects
· Excellent professional and technical writing skills
· 2-3 years of customer service experience and foresight to anticipate and initiate action on client satisfaction with resolution and tact (retail experience preferred)
· 2-3 years Help Desk experience or A+, N+, and Microsoft Certifications
· Able to work calmly under pressure
· Precise attention to detail
· Must become self-sufficient within 2 months
· Reliable internet and phone service from home
· Preferred: Experience working from home
· Preferred: 2-3 years of project management experience
WHAT YOU WOULD DO
· Coordinate the receipt, entering and expediting of all quotes, including negotiating with vendors, effectively communicating updates to all stakeholders, coordinating administrative, technical and client expectations for the resulting project and following up with the client for satisfaction
· Conduct research on network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
· Documentation of equipment inventories, runbooks and other network details
· Administer and maintain contact database and
· Draft emergency alerts to notify clients of technology threats or updates
· Reporting of purchasing, sales and business development data for management review
· Develop technical instructions for clients about offered products and services with a user-friendly approach.
· Assist in other client communication and administrative tasks as needed.
· Assist Director of Operations and Director of IT as needed.
