Secured Loan Analyst I

This position is a part of our in house underwriting team. As a Secured Loan Analyst I you will conduct a series of analysis and financial modeling via our industry standard tools.
A portion of your job is client facing, however, the greater majority of the time you will be working with internal teamates.
This position requires attention to detail, ability to support up to 30-50 loan assignments a month, accel in a deadline based environment.
The skills needed to succeed in this role are as follows
1. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively in English
2. Organization
3. Ability to grasp the tools that we use and leverage
5. Solid understanding of Excel & Google Sheets - solid knowledge of the standard formulas needed to conduct basic business reporting
6. Accountability- when given a task, complete it by all means necessary
7. Ask questions - If you are not clear about something, please say something...ask a question
8. Note taker - While technology is great, nothing beats a notebook and a pencil or pen.
9. Flexibility - We are a small company 10 people, but the owner brings over 25 years experience to the table. We have been in business for over 10 years so we know what we are doing. However, technology and the marketplace require us to maintain pace. So you may hear we are doing it this way....and then later hear we are now doing it this way... What does all of that mean? Accept and Embrace Change, cause it always comes.
10. Analytical Mind Set - you have a natural likening for numbers, math, finance, accounting etc... Our company works in the finance industry, so being analytical is a plus
