JOB OVERVIEW

Our organization is a fast-growing interior contracting company that operates primarily in Manhattan. We have a strong focus on customer service and employ the latest in cloud-based software to manage our daily operations. Paint Scout? Trello? Hubspot? Yes, we use all of them and we’re more than happy to train the right person, but you need to bring an unmatched organizational game and an unquenchable thirst for learning. Responsibilities
In any small business there are constant changes in daily, weekly and monthly activities. This is only a rough outline of what duties might fall on the shoulders of a qualified applicant:
Liaise with clients and buildings to assure accurate pre-project paperwork setup; includes issuance of insurance, google doc creation/manipulation and maintenance of documents in google ---------- timating using spreadsheets, takeoff software and in-house quoting software.
Daily bookkeeping responsibilities including: invoicing, job costing, processing subcontractor invoices.
Assist in the adjustment of existing company systems and the creation of new processes.
Schedule project clear-offs and deliveries with drivers and crew leaders.
Gauge new project scope and assemble appropriate packing lists.
Schedule crew members and subcontractors for various projects.
Field inquiries from channel partners for new projects and arrange for site visits or supply rough pricing.
We hope that the right applicant is capable of learning how to participate in much more than the above-outlined activities, but this is a start. Opportunities would be available for the right applicant to learn project management as well as sales + marketing strategies employed by our organization.

Qualifications and Requirements
A qualified applicant may not necessarily have extensive experience working in an office setting but would need to meet the requirements outlined below.
Minimum of Associates Degree earned and/or Bachelors degree earned or in-progress with 3.0+ GPA.
Familiarity with google apps (drive, mail, calendar, maps, etc) is a plus.
Spanish language skills are a plus.
0-2 years in an office setting.
Familiarity with smartphones, PC, Mac, phone-based apps.
Must be comfortable emailing and text messaging in clear English.
Ability to quickly manipulate spreadsheets and Word documents.
Familiarity with Manhattan and outlying ---------- fortable communicating with others over phone and email.
Possess strong written skills and understanding of proper grammar.
