Position: Social Media Manager at Marion Neubronner & Associates

Company Background
Singapore-based Marion Neubronner & Associates (http://www.marionneubronner.com/) is an educational and consulting firm that believes “The Future Is In Human Capital”. We want to build our community by disseminating new and essential academic information to people, and promoting best practices in people development and maximize organizations’ performance.

Purpose: “Building peak performance in Individuals and Organizations”

Organization Structure
Marion Neubronner is the CEO and founder. She is Singapore-based, but often travels and works overseas. Team members include part-time interns, virtual assistants, and associates who are based both in Singapore and other countries.

Overview of what we do
The following is a list of some of what we do:
Area: Multi-generational and Gen Y
• Workshops: Marion and her associates conduct workshops about multi-generational conflict and how to engage Gen Ys. Marion has been conducting these workshops for 8 years.
• Turning Gen Y On book: Marion has written a soon-to-be-published book, Turning Gen Y On, about how managers can engage Gen Ys in their workplace and motivate them for higher performance.
Area: Mindfulness and resilience
• Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (https://siyli.org/): Marion is a certified Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute facilitator, and leads workshops, consulting, and book clubs in this area.
• eCourses: Marion and her associates run eCourses to educate people on mindfulness.
• Marion and her associates are also involved in work regarding mindfulness and resilience (e.g., running workshops, promoting affiliated business, …)
Area: Coaching
• 1 to 1 Coaching: Marion and her association coach top management in organizations so they can spot their resistance in work and improve their performance.
• BCI (http://www.behavioral-coaching-institute.com): Marion and her associates run coaching workshops to teach others to be coaches.
Area: Social Media
• To promote our various projects, workshops, affiliates, and staff, we leverage a number of social media channels (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Websites, etc.) We will continue to do so, and need to expand and improve our coverage, likes, reach, channels, optimization, etc.

Overview of Position
The Social Media Manager will be the point person for the company in social and digital media.

Tasks and Skills/Experience
The following lists the type of tasks and skills/experiences desired for this role:

Tasks / Skills/Experience
• Finding/creating/reviewing content (e.g., articles, chapters, audio/video, etc.) and posting across current and new social media channels for maximum effect. ==> Writing skills (English); SMO/SEO experience and knowledge of different social media channels and what will attract views/likes and how to optimize; Advantageous if experience in writing (e.g., journalism) and video editing.
• Researching current events, tools, techniques, and what others are doing in social media. ==> Research skills.
• Transcribing audio/video; typing up notes, etc. ==> Detail-oriented; English comprehension (Content would be in English, but may be in different accents such as Singaporean, American, …)
• Performing administration tasks (e.g., participating in concalls, updating task status, etc.) ==> Detail-oriented; Familiarity with software tools (e.g.., Skype, Trello, Dropbox, Ruzuku, Google Docs, …) a plus
• Keeping all relevant content (documents, notes, emails, audio/video files, etc.) organized; Documenting processes ==> Organized; Detail-oriented.
• Creating/sending/monitoring/ replying to relevant emails, connection requests, comments, and other correspondences, as appropriate ==> Communication skills; Interpersonal skills (e.g., communicating with clients/ prospects, etc.)
• Helping with new ideas for content for video recording ==> Resourceful; Creative
• Working remotely with team members from different countries (e.g., in Singapore, India, U.S.) ==> Communication skills; Ability to work with remote team members
• Attending internal training/learning ==> Ability to be open to learn new tasks and knowledge.
• Creating/improving marketing campaigns ==> Creative
