Inventory management and logistics coordination

Job duties:
- Monitor sales and inventory, estimate when to restock - reorder from factory, or restock from another warehouse.
- Calculate restock quantity based on recent sales numbers
- Logistics monitor and tracking. Follow each shipment, and communicate with each receiving warehouse, to make sure the final quantity received is correct.
- Creating shipment plans in multiple ERP systems, to send inventory from storage warehouse to fulfillment centers.


Requirements:
- familiar with google sheets and excel. You will use a lot of these to formulate tables and do calculations.
- eye for details. At any given time, there will be more than 50 shipments to follow up. Sometimes the receiving warehouse would say they received a different quantity, then you'll need to verify with the shipper (usually the factory reps or freight forwarder agents).
- strong sense of logic. because you'll need to estimate reorder quantity, follow the shipment, then it gets to fulfillment center, when it gets sold, the inventory drops down, then you'll need to start the cycle and reorder again. you'll need to be able to follow this cycle and understand the status of each product in each different country.
- dedication and commitment. this is a full time job. timeproof is required.
