Graphic Designer for Inspiration Blog

LooksLikeGoodDesign is a growing Design and Inspiration Blog with 50k+ followers. High Quality Design Inspiration, every day.

It was first started back in 2008 by Interaction Designer Jonas Kamber and had up to 1 million pageviews a month. In 2012, it was given over to Jaap Grolleman, until he decided to create his own blog and stopped the project.

In January 2016 I (Jonas Kamber, Founder of Kamber Interactive GmbH) decided to restart the blog with a slightly different concept that will monetize the project through affiliate links to nice products. Just check it out to get a feeling about the site.

Now, I’m looking for a motivated personality, who can help me, create blog posts, edit images, find interesting stuff, manage Social Media and handle everything related to LooksLikeGoodDesign. The blog is part of a bigger project, to help Artists to sell their work online. I need Graphic Design support there as well.

Your Job
– Find and suggest inspiration posts (from a provided list of sites)
– Create and schedule blog posts (in Wordpress)
– Retouch images
– Spread content in Social Networks and keep in touch with our fan base
– Manage incoming suggestions and requests from visitors
– Research potential affiliate partners
– Find and suggest products to post
– Manage and report incoming earnings from affiliate partners
– Analyse and report activities on Blog (Google Analytics)
– Analyse and report activities on Social Media
– Retouch and distribute Graphics from other Artists

What you need
– Reliable personality
– Passion for beautiful stuff (Products, Illustration, Architecture etc)
– Basic image editing and design skills
– Basic HTML knowledge (or willingness to learn)
– Good communication skills (no blog post writing skills required, though)
– Experienced with Wordpress
– Experienced with Facebook and Twitter
– Experienced with Google Docs

What would make you outstanding
– Background in Design
– Experience with Tumblr, Pinterest, Instagram
– Web Development Skills (HTML, CSS, JS, PHP)
