Front End WordPress Developer (Part-Time)

We help small businesses and organizations (with 5-50 employees) looking to reinvent and formulate their online presence with a website that is on-trend with design, well-coded and flexible enough to grow with the business as it grows. We work with our clients to build an online marketing strategy that includes a well-built website, social media content and other resources for online ---------- ’s important for us to create ongoing personal relationships with our clients and facilitate that role as a dedicated webmaster.

Johnny Flash Productions is looking for a motivated Front End WordPress Developer that is up for becoming part of the team for long term growth.

This position is 25 hours/week. Monday - Friday, 5 hours per day. Preferred evening/night shift of 9pm-2am Philippine Standard Time.

Monthly tasks include:

• Manage monthly software updates of client websites (WordPress)
• Manage monthly support requests from clients (through support ticket center)
• Develop WordPress sites for new client projects
• Apply new plugin features to client websites (WordPress)
• Work to resolve issues related to WordPress websites and client hosting
• Assist in maintaining client’s website speed performance and security

Qualities we are looking for:

• English fluency
• At least 3+ years experience developing WordPress themes.
• A free thinker, willing to look for answers.
• Confidence in coding HTML5, CSS3, PHP and JavaScript.
• Fully understands responsive coding.
• A team player who is happy working in a small team or 2-4 people.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in cross-browser compliance issues.
• Experience in web hosting performance and security issues.

• MySQL
• PHP
• CSS/HTML

• Figma (for exporting)

Special requirements:

• A computer that is two years old or less
• Your own Internet connection and some kind of backup internet
• Have a video camera and headset or microphone (for tea ---------- etings)
