The Business Operations Specialist will join a dynamic global team of Business Operations professionals within Nasdaq Global Corporate Solutions organization. We are looking for a highly motivated, thorough individual able to work with minimal supervision; detailed oriented and yet able to see the big picture and think holistically. The responsibility of the Specialist will be to support the overall GCS business with reporting and analysis concerning clients, products and sales performance. The candidate will also support a portfolio of enhancements for the Customer Administration Platform as well as manage the Customer Master governance.
1. General analytical and administrative support surrounding data collection and analysis of customer spend data, client retention, sales performance and pipeline, and overall account maintenance to identify trends and opportunities.
2. Assists with the analysis of sales and client data to identify trends/opportunities, develops strategic direction, and create compelling analysis presentations.
3. Creates, maintains, and develops database and reporting.
4. Manages the Customer Master governance process and projects to improve overall accuracy and data integrity.
5. Acts as a liaison between end-users, system owners, product owners, technical analysts, and the Project Team.
6. Identifies needs, presents options, and develops requirements that ensure the system design fits the needs of end users.
7. Other project based ad-hocs.
Education, Professional accomplishments, and Certifications
• 2-4 years of Business Analysis experience;
• Database Management - SQL and/or Microsoft Access;
• Other Microsoft Office applications proficiency - Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint;
• Proficient in Gathering and Analyzing Information and Documenting Requirements;
• Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills;
• Organizational Process Definition and/or Re-engineering;
• Functional Knowledge of the Order Management Processes, CRM, PSFT, a strong plus;
• General knowledge of the Software Development Process, a plus;
• Experience working in a global organization, a plus;
• Proven track record of successfully working in a high paced environment, a plus;
• Basic project management experience, a plus.
