An opportunity has arisen for an Upgrade to see actual info e-Commerce Developer to join our IT team at Buy It Direct!

More about the Role

You’ll be involved in the coding of changes and new features to our e-Commerce platform. This is a key position as e-Commerce and our web technologies will underpin the next phase in our growth. We operate an Agile, full-stack environment full of interesting development challenges and opportunities to explore and learn new technologies.

The key skills required are:

• C# .NET 4.5 (or higher)
• ASP.NET MVC 4 (or higher)
• SQL Server 2016 (or higher)
• jQuery • Bootstrap (desired but not essential)
• Angular JS (desired but not essential)
• Entity Framework (desired but not essential)
• WCF (desired but not essential)
• Azure (desired but not essential)

About You

We are looking for a highly innovative and creative developer who is able to work efficiently to meet deadlines. You will be a great problem solver who thrives on understanding user requirements and turning these into fantastic technical solutions. You won’t be afraid to make suggestions to help us to improve not only our technology but also our business and user experience. Ideally you’ll have some experience of building e-Commerce applications, but even if you haven’t we want to hear from you if you’re a quick learner who loves new challenges.
