Our client is seeking a full-time Marketing Assistant to oversee and expertly manage their content marketing strategy. The Marketing Assistant will combine their knowledge of digital marketing and social media management to drive a coordinated and strategic content schedule while expertly managing the company’s social media pages. Through creativity, organization, and focus, the Marketing Assistant will create a system that consistently serves up high-impact content designed to engage and grow our target audience. Along with their strong understanding of digital marketing, the Marketing Assistant will also utilize their skills in social media management to expertly moderate and manage the company’s social media pages.

Responsibilities:
Learning:
- Study and understand everything there is to know about the company and its space (mission, vision, target audience, products, programs, etc.)
- Learn the company and CEO - how to “speak” like them in the content you will be putting forth
Managing, Planning, and Creating:
- Plan out and create a content schedule from the company’s content library to be released across the company’s social media platforms
- Use creativity and strategy to develop “lead magnets” in content that help grow the company’s audience and overall sales
- Edit videos and create highlight reels for social media content
- Create blog posts and outlines for YouTube videos and podcasts
- Write copy and collect content to be used in
- Write copy and create graphics to be used for social media posts
- Ultimately work towards adding a level of sophistication to the company’s content methodology
- Expertly moderate the company’s social media pages
Team:
- Maintain consistent communication with the Director of Marketing
- Collaborate with the marketing director to develop and implement multi-channel social media strategy and calendar
Must-Have:
- 1-3 years experience in marketing management, social media content management work, or similar
- Strong direct response copywriting skills that are persuasive and marketing-minded
- Must be a proactive and independent worker that takes ownership of their work and the position
- Experience with SEO
- Has a solid understanding of online business and digital marketing
- Leading knowledge in top social media platforms, including
- Proven track for producing high-performing quality imagery and videos for social media
- Familiar with editing and design software and technologies (such as
Canva and/or Adobe CS)
- Must be available to work in EST timezone during typical business hours
- Experience using an AI writing assistant (ie Jasper, Rytr, etc) a plus
- Experience with Hubspot a plus
