Job Description:
As a DevOps engineer, you should be able to help in the design, configuration and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery processes. You should have expertise in developing and maintaining container deployment, continuous integration, and monitoring systems, using Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS. You will also have to occasionally help with infrastructure setup, software installations, scripting, networking and security. Experience in Amazon Web Services and creating cloud formation templates to build AWS services to support custom server-side JavaScript applications is a big plus.
Required Skills:
5+ years of IT industry experience
Degree/PG in Computer Science Engineering/ Software Engineering or relevant field
AWS, Docker, Open Shift, Kubernetes
Design Cloud Formation Templates
Design, implement and maintain the DevOps pipeline
Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes
Experience with several DevOps related tools such as GIT, GitLab, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, SVN etc
Automate our operational processes as needed, with accuracy and in compliance with our security requirements
Good experience with Linux-based infrastructures, Linux/Unix administration, and AWS
Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python and various Shell Scripts
Experience with project management and workflow tools such as Agile, Jira, Scrum/Kanban/Safe
Stay current with industry trends and source new ways to improve business processes
Nice to Have:
Experience in public cloud platforms such AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
Experience in Microservices implementations using Docker, Kubernetes and Open Shift
Experience in using API Gateways
