JOB OVERVIEW

Here is the gig we need from an experienced real-estate Luminar AI/Neo or PhotoShop/LR editor. Please only apply for the gig if you think your skills are up to the task, and you have significant experience doing this type of work.

There are 6 rooms/locations that need to be edited. Most rooms have multiple exposures that need to be combined into an HDR/Flambient image based on your skillset. This is a paid test project for future work. We are looking for someone who can help us long-term to edit lots of photos in bulk with Luminar AI/Neo or ---------- each room, you need to do 1 image from each perspective. So in the bedroom, you probably have about 4 ---------- the bathroom, there are 3, Pool 4, etc. There are LOTS of extra images that you don’t need to use. There are a few close-up images edit them so they fit the look and feel of the rest of your edits. Most images are shot 3-5 times under and overexposed. YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE ALL IMAGES – only what you need to get the effect you want. Some of the shots were not good/clean so we re-setup and shot from a different position. When you download there will be over 3.5gigs of data because the RAW files are very large.

----------

What you need to keep in mind:

1) Removal of any defects in the picture (cables, spots, dirt, wrinkles, shadows from cables etc.)

2) Combining images to create 2 different looks and feels for most images:
a. Light, Airy, Bright (Color adjust the image UP to have an even base of both highlights and shadows.)
b. Sexy, Moody, Seductive, and contrasting light sources with the shadows (Color Adjust Down so you have Heavy shadows and darker areas with the lights drawing attention to specific features if relevant)

3) The key to the above will be to do HDR/ Flambient and then Doge and Burn to make the lighting shadows water fit the mood you are going for. Boost the contrast and vividness of color. Where appropriate (ie Pool) bring up color and brightness in the water so it appears lit from below. Retouch in Color Setting Working Space off of the RAW files – Not the JPEGs. The Jpegs are included only as a reference so you can choose which photos to process. Retouch out dirt, fabric wrinkles, skin flaws, dead plants/palms/trees, and other noticeable problematic areas. Color adjust the image to have an even base of both highlights and shadows. Any heavy shadows and darker areas should be lightened appropriately and any blown-out areas must be burned ---------- filters or vignettes should be used.

4) All windows need to be exposed properly – light should spill in from them, but you should still be able to see the outside clearly and be properly exposed.

5) Lines/Lens/Horizon Correction in each

6) There are pictures of the sea (horizon) from a distance please make sure you can see the water – and it is differentiated clearly in terms of color from the sky.

7) You are also being evaluated on your ability to pick the best perspectives to work with. I need to be able to send you files in build and trust that you will be able to choose the ones that look the best.

Please let me know if you can do the items above. If you cant do all of them, indicate those that you are not comfortable taking on and we will d ---------- if this is a good fit or not. Please give a price quote after looking over the images and tell me how many perspectives you would use from each individual room/space and the total number of final images you will deliver.

If this works well we have a number of larger real-estate projects to give you over the long term.

Please send me links to your editing ---------- can be of people and of real estate as we need help with both in the future. To apply for the position, pick 4 different locations/rooms and choose 1 perspective from each out of the link above and show me your best HDR / Flambient skills on these images. We are looking for something realistic and consistent to be considered for this job. If you are good we will give you not only this gig but many more in the future.

Thanks so much – looking forward to hearing from you.

Best,

Ari
