Job Summary

The primary responsibilities of the Social Media Manager include developing and executing social media strategy, serving as the eyes, ears, and voice of the company on social channels, including Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest with future plans to start marketing on YouTube. Reporting timeline and project status to necessary team members on a regular basis, this role partners closely with all departments of the company.

***Content Creative, and Product Marketing on social media Is the true purpose of the position and work with the team, to help build, create and strengthen a new brand voice on social media.***

Job Responsibilities

Develop creative social content that strengthens company brand, facilitates engagement with followers, and drives traffic to website, online shop & services as well as lead-generating sources.
Produce and manage a social media editorial/ content calendar that aligns with company, campaigns and product launches, in addition to relevant industry months, cultural celebrations, and other timely events.
Oversee social media posts and activity, showing yourself as a team member with leadership & drive including developing content and monitoring engagement
Establish goals and metrics for success for social channels and share regular reporting
Work cross-functionally with colleagues in corporate communications, content, product marketing, events, creative and other teams to create content that supports ongoing business objectives, marketing campaigns and thought leadership
Assess up-and-coming social media platforms and identify opportunities for company to experiment with new content types and audiences
Conduct active social listening across social media networks and relay relevant company mentions to the appropriate teams
Own social response strategy and work with the teams to respond to comments and client inquiries
Ensure all social media channels adhere to brand standards and are up-to-date visually
Elevate company social presence and develop a personality that is true to the brand
Establish social channel(s) as a “must follow” in the industry

Requirements

degree in Communications, Marketing or related field

3+ years of experience in social media and/or marketing

Ability to monitor social media channels outside of traditional working hours


Skills

Passion for creating content and staying up to date with social media platforms and trends
Excellent writer and creator with experience developing effective, engaging multimedia content for diverse audiences
Solid analytical skills with an ability to create and measure benchmarks for success
Ability to work with cross functional teams to achieve collective goals
Strong communicator with ability to tactfully educate, inform and share feedback
Ability to respond real time to social comments and take advantage of hot topics and current events while simultaneously developing longer-term plans to align with business needs
Well-organized with attention to detail
Creative spirit with desire to experiment, learn and make data-informed decisions.
