Home-based senior designer

We are looking for a talented, tech-savvy designer to join our fast growing team. Working from home, you will be a senior designer, fantastic communicator and you will have the confidence to come up with strong visual concepts and briefs. This is a great opportunity for an up-and-coming designer to have a say in the artistic direction of a range of magazines, websites, corporate branding and more.

You will require a degree/tertiary qualifications in design, at least five years industry/publishing experience. You will also have a strong understanding of design for both print and online.

While the role will require a hands-on designer, we are also looking for someone who can manage a team, assign work and ensure quality.

To be successful in the role you MUST have:
- at least five years publishing experience
- two years experience managing a team
- a proven track record of managing and preparing jobs for print
- relevant tertiary qualifications
- Excellent Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign skills
- the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- the ability to clearly communicate ideas
- moderate HTML and CSS understanding
- understanding of Email Management Systems such as Bronto, Mailchimp or Silverpop
- digital knowledge of various display banner adverts and best practice on display advertising
- experience with website wireframing and designing mockups for website user flows
