JOB OVERVIEW

My name is Jacob and I am the owner of ---------- , a local house cleaning business in Cleveland, Ohio that has some big ambitions, and am looking for an incredible operations manager to be my right hand and help to guide our company through the growth that we are experiencing.

This position will start out as a part time position that will gradually scale up to full time with the opportunity to take on more responsibilities and continue to grow in the company. Ideally, this individual will eventually become our General Manager or COO as we continue to grow and expand.

What kind of work will you be doing?

Summit Maids exclusively focuses on residential cleaning. That means you’ll be working with many individuals and families to help schedule cleaning services for their homes and then coordinate our team of cleaners to ensure that our cleaning teams arrive on time to the right location.

We also work with property managers who manage many different properties and hire us to help prepare their property to be rented out. We’re here to try and help our clients live a better life, knowing that their home is being taken care of.
On a regular basis, you will be doing things like:

Answering phone calls and emails from prospective clients
Scheduling appointments from inbound calls
Coordinating cleaning team schedules and ensuring that all appointments are assigned
Making outbound calls to current clients to update them when things change with their appointments
Working with our cleaning team to ensure that we have coverage for all business hours
Monitoring and responding to inbound questions on our website live chat
Processing and scheduling new appointment requests that come through the website
Sending follow up emails to clients after their appointment is complete
Verifying cleaner time cards
Checking the weather forecast and adjusting appointments as necessary (only in winter)
Updating our Mailchimp data
Responding to Yelp quote requests

Work Hours
US Eastern Time Zone 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday (Semi-Flexible).
Our business hours are 8am-8pm, 7 days a week, so we are open to shifting your schedule to another set of times during our business hours and days to help you fit your preferred ---------- itially this position will be part time work, but will need to still be available during the US East time zone. Work will come in sporadically as clients call in, cleaners need to be scheduled, and customer service issues come up. But in between that, there will also be a lot of slow times where you will not be doing a lot of work at first and will be welcome to work on other clients of yours.

This would be ideal for someone who has another part time job in a similar time zone that they could be working on during the slower times until we are able to promote you to full time.
