Back-End Web Developer

We’re looking to hire an experienced and hardworking back-end web developer for our fast growing eCommerce company where we specialize in the sale and installation support of off-grid solar energy kits.

Our Back-End Web Developer will manage and lead our technical development team, with a focus on building low code & no code solutions for both internal and external uses. The goal here is to find someone that brings a strong skillset and background experience with things like Shopify, WordPress, ---------- , HTML, CSS and more.

Core Responsibilities:

Build internal systems and processes for improving workflows
Optimize and fix website glitches, layouts and conversion rate optimization
Create and develop low code / no code apps and tools
Work to improve the overall look and feel of all web properties
Implement and execute the marketing strategy

Background Experience

3+ Years experience in a back-end web development role
Familiar with some of these tools: Shopify / Wordpress / ---------- / Webflow / Glide Apps / HTML / CSS Coding
Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) on a consistent schedule
Proficiency with technology paired with excellent design skills
Have strong reading, writing and communication skills
Willingness to learn all about solar power and renewable energy as well as care deeply about people and genuinely enjoy finding new keywords to rank for.
Possess high level of understanding, patience and empathy
Are committed to continuous growth and learning. You understand that every challenge is an opportunity and you get excited about learning new things.
Ensure privacy and security practices are followed at all times for both customers and the business.

Bonus Experience:

- A background or interest in solar power, renewable energy, off-grid living.
- Have experience building web apps using low code / no code solutions
- Experience building and designing both Shopify and/or Wordpress websites
- Have experience with digital marketing, eCommerce and working in a team
