JOB DESCRIPTION

The Shopify Developer creates online stores using the Shopify ECommerce platform. This covers front-end development, web design, and user interface design (UI) knowledge. He also collaborates with Shopify Apps and Integrations for Inventory Systems, Payments, and other store-related functions. He has a distinct perspective, development experience, and an in-depth understanding of everything necessary to specialize in Shopify Projects.



Duties and Responsibilities:

· Develop robust and user-friendly web applications built using the Shopify

· Conceptualize the design for the application/functionality.

· Develop related software applications and programs to satisfy customer requirements.

· Determine placement and layout of web site pages given client provided content.

· Design and creation of relational database schemas.

· Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

· Sales data should be sent to Salesforce B2B

· Shipping information should be synchronized with couriers through Shipstation

· Multi-channel ecommerce data should be synchronized with Amazon Supply Chain.

· Customer information should be synchronized with Lightspeed and Square POS

· Integration with Google Content API for Shopping to update product information, orders and returns.

· API Integration with Accounting software is expected.

· All data should be presented as dashboards on Microsoft Power Bi. KPI sheets are a requirement but other drill down sheets may be required

· Implement best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodologies

· Ensure compliance with the documented software processes and procedures throughout the life cycle of software products.

· Inspect and troubleshoot bugs and other QA issues

· Create software documentation and update existing documentation.

· Assist in gathering requirements and project specifications

· Attend daily stand up meetings

· Take ownership of daily project needs and communications.

· Communicate project status and deliverables with managers and clients.

· Manage project tasks, timelines, and communication.

· Perform routine site maintenance as needed.

· Other tasks as needed for successful project completion.



Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Programming/ Information Technology or related course

· Preferably 2-4 Yrs Experienced Employee specialized in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent

· Ability to code a theme from scratch in Shopify

· Must have experience with third party integrations such as Salesforce, Shipstation, Amazon Supply Chain, Lightspeed, Square POS, Google Content API for Shopping, API integration with Accounting software, Microsoft Power Bi.

· 2+ years experience with Liquid, HTML, CSS, jQuery & Javascript

· Good understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms

· Proficient understanding of Javascript frameworks

· Proficiency with Invision, Sketch, Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud

· Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and responsive design

· Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git

· Ability to self manage and meet deadlines

· Good understanding of SEO principles

· A good eye for design and great attention to detail

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· A strong understanding of UX design

· A portfolio of live projects

· Experience in the following a plus: Ruby, React JS, Shopify Plus & Shopify’s API, WordPress
