Finance Manager

Job Summary

Forecast models, assess risk in investments, ensure all accounting activities comply with regulations, craft financial strategies and manage accounting teams and maintain our company’s financial health and increase profitability in the long run.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Oversees all outgoing funds
Oversees and audit all incoming payments
Expands on monthly financial with deeper analysis of the past optimization for the future
Oversees the creation of the dashboards for tracking key metrics across all departments
Connected to the above, the goal of this is that everything in the company should be measured and d ---------- on by numbers
Prepares and oversees monthly year financial
Sets up processes for smooth operations in all matters related to Finance
Created a process designed to provided reasonable assurance regarding the reliability of financial reporting
Creates a process designed to provide reasonable assurance regarding the reliability of inventory reporting
Creates forecasts across the business
Creates budgets across the business
Completely owns cash flow
Establishes requirements for new financing (based on forecasts and budgets), and communicates said requirements with the founder
Manages requirements (usually reports) from lenders from existing to new ones (if applicable)
Creates analysis ad-hoc, we’ll need them for special projects etc.
Is on top of all required fillings related to legal and financial
Makes sure we’re always insured
Reviews and approves all contracts
Ensures we’re compliant from tax perspective, researches available tax credits that we can take advantage of
Strategizes with the Founder and his CPA on tax strategy, and executes conclusions (on the business side, CPA executes on the filing side)
Ensure timeliness and accuracy of work prior to submission.
Ensure confidentiality of data and company information.
Provide superior with regular feedback on the status of ongoing tasks and discuss other relevant concerns.
Perform other related duties as ---------- ply with the Company ---------- ply with the Company and Department’s approved/existing work procedures and guidelines.

Job Qualifications

BS Finance, Accounting or any related course
At least 5 years of proven experience as Finance Manager or similar role
Knowledgeable in US GAAP
Strong Excel skills
Excellent ability to problem solve along with solid analytical skills, understanding of the business process, and systems optimization
Comfortable interacting with all levels of management in multiple areas
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, strong financial system and business administration understanding
Ability to review data and make relevant management decisions
An analytical mind
Negotiation skills and the ability to develop strong?working relationships
Commercial and business awareness
Good communication skills – both written and verbal
A keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
Ability to stick to time constraints
