Our firm is looking for an applicant to fill our full-time remote Bookkeeper/Accountant position.
The candidate must be highly proficient in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and must be well versed in Microsoft Word and Excel. To be successful in this role it is essential to learn quickly, have a high attention to detail, produce work with a high level of accuracy, communicate professionally, and show a positive attitude. You also must be an open-minded team player with initiative and enthusiasm. The individual should demonstrate the ability to think strategically in problem solving.
Bookkeeper Responsibilities:
The candidate should be able to work independently and follow directions. Other main responsibilities include:
• Perform month, quarter, and year end close processes and tasks, including the preparation of journal entries, bank and credit card reconciliations
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, and bank accounts at the end of each month
• Process accounts receivable and payable
• Work with an accountant when necessary
• Handle monthly payroll using accounting software
Administrative Responsibilities:
• Prepare client billing and payment schedules
• Prepare weekly internal KPI reporting
• Develops process and procedures for the client and the organization (help automate processes)
• Ensures proper implementation of the organization’s policies and procedure
• Performs other special project assigned from time to time
• Attending to daily concerns of the team
• Maintaining calendars and scheduling assistance
• Securely handle and manage sensitive and confidential information
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or relevant field
• CPA license a preferred plus
• Need to have a certification of English C2(Advanced/Mastery) language knowledge test
• 3 or more years of bookkeeping experience
• Must know (at least 3 years) QuickBooks Online and Desktop (we will not train!)
• QBO Pro-advisor certification is required
• Have solid knowledge of GAAP rules
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Word and Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, data extracts, etc.)
• Must have a laptop or PC workstation with webcam and microphone
• Must have a reliable internet connection with internet speed at least 20mbps
• Suitable work environment at home and not at public area, such as coffee shop
• Background screening is required
Compensation:
• Highly competitive pay - salary rate will be depending on your experience
• Thirteenth-month pay
• Annual performance bonus eligible
