Software Developer - Web Scraping

We are looking for a passionate Software Developer who can and will enjoy working on our Data Services Team building out our Crawlers and Web Scrapers and other backend services our products may use.

Responsibilities:
- Work primarily on our Services Team
- Help with planning our product roadmap
- Research and development of new technologies and potential features
- Provide high quality, well-structured and documented code
- Stay current on emerging technologies
- Produce and maintain technical documentation
- The ability to meet deadlines and changing priorities in a high-pressured startup
- Report on all progress, blocks and upcoming tasks in asynchronous stand up meetings, daily

Skills Required:
- Ability to program in PHP and Python
- Some experience with Laravel and AWS (Lambda, SQS)
- Design, implement and maintain web scrapers for a wide variety of alternative datasets
- Create tests to validate data availability and integrity
- Create and maintain alerting system to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Investigate and defuse time-sensitive data iUpgrade to see actual info
- Build and improve machine learning models

Qualifications:
- Good English communication skills
- Must have a solid background and experience in software development
- Degree preferred
