What We’re Looking For
We need a new client manager who can take care of all our current PPC clients relationship-wise.

Client managers need to have a solid understanding of Google Ads and how it works at a level that'll allow them to interact with the technical team, answer all client questions and build a relationship with them, help troubleshoot problems, and guide the campaign strategy. They don't build or manage the campaigns but they will translate ad performance to the clients and also translate the clients' goals to the team who does build and manage the campaigns (the account executives).

Client managers are the direct bridge between us and the clients which is why they are the main parts of our team. We're looking for more amazing tea ---------- mbers who can focus on client relationship building and management along with campaign strategy and data analysis to grow our agency to greater levels.

Salary & Growth Opportunities
The client manager position starts at $9,000 USD per year.

You'll work under either the current client manager or PPC account manager as you learn the trade.
You'll be assigned clients slowly as we begin to build your confidence and skill level.
You'll be graded on your client retention and campaign performance.
Once you're managing a full slate (we determine this based on overall client happiness rates and if they're dropping), you will be promoted to a full Client Manager.

Client managers who show positive performance will be handed additional accounts past a full slate.

The Ideal Candidate
Google Ads: Experience with Google Ads is required. You are not expected to actually run Google Ads campaigns (those are run by our account executives). However, you do need to understand the fundamentals of Google Ads, how it works and why, and the reporting in order to influence strategy and communicate the ideas between account executives and clients and vice versa.

Client Management: Your main task as a client manager is to manage clients properly in order to build strong and long lasting relationships. Simply put, you need to be someone who cares deeply about helping small businesses succeed. That means managing expectations, being ultra clear with communication, and possibly coaching clients if needed. You also need to be comfortable with challenging conversations and have the ability to diffuse tense situations and the foresight to navigate around potential pitfalls.

Problem Solving: One of the biggest sins you can do at our agency is ask a question or help with a problem which you could have solved yourself. We’re always here to support our tea ---------- mbers but you need to be someone who can roll up your sleeve and do your best to deal with problems - and solve those which you can actually solve. You’re expected to fight hard against problems and find solutions instead of having them bring you down or get in your way.

Marketing Strategy: Your main job is to learn about the client's business and understand what they sell, who they sell to, ---------- order to use this to guide the client towards strategies that help their ad campaigns become as profitable as possible (with the account executive’s help). If this means they need to change their website, it's up to you to realize this and recommend it to them. If this means their obsession with low cpcs is hurting them because traffic quality is dropping, it's up to you to educate them on a better metric to base their campaign success off of.
