Senior PHP Full-Stack Developer

BradTech Digital Media is looking for a talented Senior PHP Full-Stack Developer. As a Senior Full-Stack PHP engineer, you will play a key role in driving the future of our client’s platforms by solving architectural and development challenges in an endeavor to deliver great user experiences. You will investigate and recommend industry standards, and best practices while addressing stakeholder requirements.

What you will do:
* Be a critical thinker who can anticipate potential pitfalls and suggest improvements.
* Take ownership of your code, and ensure that the acceptance criteria is verified before testing begins
* Build new features from the ground up or help enhance or maintain existing project functionality.
* Collaborate with onsite and offshore engineering teams to produce clean reusable code, and provide constructive criticism through code reviews.
* Design and generate complex reports based on relational databases
* Interact with external APIs and offer output information in several formats for other developers
* Work closely with the product managers and turn product requirements into actionable technical stories with well-defined specifications.
* Monitor, analyze, and evaluate performance, security, product needs, and cost constraints of applications
* Help QA by validating bugs and providing fixes in a timely manner.
* Provide architecture diagrams and documentation that other developers can easily follow
* Encourage innovation of process and creative development methodologies

Required Skills:
* At least 5 years of experience developing object-oriented PHP7 applications using the Larvel MVC architecture
* Be comfortable working in an agile and fast-paced environment.
* Have a good understanding of using git for source control management and versioning.
* An eye for web design, including modern web design trends and accessibility standards.
* At least 3 years of experience designing schemas, optimizing queries, and general tuning for relational databases including MySQL
* Strong LAMP stack and RESTful API development experience - Laravel
* At least 2 years of experience developing and consuming Restful API for systems integration

Nice to have Skills:
* Experience with eCommerce and shopping cart development
* Inventory and Supply chain
* Experience with modern front-end JavaScript frameworks, specifically Angular.
* Scrum Agile development knowledge
* Unit testing with PHPUnit and Integration Testing
