Local Furniture Outlet is a US-based furniture retailer with a focus on e-commerce. We are seeking one qualified Bookkeeper/Accounts Payable with expertise in bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general office management. We need someone who is fluent in English, has experience with US accounting standards and is extremely detail-oriented.
Tasks
- Daily Reconciliations
- Weekly Reconciliations
- Monthly Reconciliations
- Categorize Expenses
- Verify Invoices for Accuracy
- Receiving
- Create Vendor Bills
- Processing Claims
- Prepare Sales Tax Reports Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly
- Weekly Payroll
- Establish Best Practices to Improve Overall Business Performance
- Plus any additional tasks required by management
Qualifications
- Be available to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 6 AM - 8 PM US CST
- 2 Years of Accounts Payable Experience
- 2 Years of Accountant Experience
- 2 Years for US Based Accounting Experience
- 2 Years of Quickbooks Online
- Google Drive (Sheets)
- Strong Attention to Detail
- Fluent in English, Written, and Oral
- Be available During US CST Time Zone
- Comfortable Learning New Software
- Strong Internet Connection
- Designated Office Area
- 2 Years Microsoft Office (Excel)
- Strong Computer Skills
- Strong Communication Skills
- Work Independently
