Legal Researcher

Hello there, I am a lawyer in Vancouver, Canada and looking for a new member to my team. I am looking for a VA to take incoming calls and assist with document processing and client requests. I am only looking for full time VA. This role has potential for growth.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research on variety of topics
- Writing legal briefs, reviews, and case analysis
- Writing in non-legal jargon and explaining, through your writings, legal topics to non-legal audience
- Writing legal arguments
- Draft pleadings and completing court forms (training will be provided)
- Contract drafting and review
Skills:
- Excellent legal research skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Editing and proof reading
- Strong knowledge of citation and referencing rules
