JOB OVERVIEW

Job Brief:
I am currently seeking an experienced and creative Video Editor to join our team who is reliable, detail-oriented, takes initiative, self-motivated, resourceful, problem solver, organized, flexible, and can complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.

About us:

My company has been in operation since 1999, and we are constantly expanding our workforce. Over the last 10 years, we've had a lot of virtual assistants. My primary virtual assistant has been with me for 10 years. As of now, I have 56 full-time online employees.

We're seeking someone who is self-motivated, resourceful, a problem solver and knows how to stay flexible and adaptable. Must be capable of completing projects on time with minimal supervision.

These are the most important tasks you will do on a daily basis. You must be open and comfortable doing this for a fixed 8-hour shift / 5 days a week. We operate 24/7 and you must be open to rotational shift work.

Responsibilities:
Design and Visual Storytelling
Design and produce the company’s brand and provide creative concepts and design.
Editing raw footage content and cutting video sequences to ensure that concepts are translated effectively.
Video Production
Manage the entire video production process including planning, creating, editing, sourcing stock footage and creation of graphics and final file preparation.
Ensuring effective and efficient coordination between the team.
Work closely with the team to visually explain complex data findings, including infographics.
Video Prior work experience as an Illustrator, graphic designer, or similar.
Creative mind and storytelling skills

Editors Skills & Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with video and design editing software, like Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Submission of a video editing reel of your best work

Graphic Designers Skills & Qualifications:
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficient in using Adobe Photoshop.
Efficiency in using Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
Proficient in using Canva .

Image and Video Editing – Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project. Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client's specifications. Improve video and sound quality using various video software

Edit photos to achieve the highest quality using the appropriate tools and make them more appealing, and arrange them in a suitable layout.

Content Management – Format and post blog articles, insert images, perform light proof reading of blog posts, and manage comments on the blog posts

Document Creation & Organization – Format Word documents, create tables, and organize styles. An example of this is formatting exercise programs (adding exercise descriptions and pics to programs).

Requirements:
Solid prior experience in video editing.
Strong expertise in editing softwares such as Premiere pro, After Effect, and Photoshop.
Possess good color grading sense and skills..
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic business ---------- monstrated problem-solving and consulting skills.
Ability to work remotely and independently.
Must have a good knowledge of current employment practices.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, GSuite and Hubstaff.
