JOB OVERVIEW

General Purpose and Duties

This role will have primary responsibility for managing and implementing all online marketing strategies, marketing activities and product delivery. This role requires strong management skills, detail-orientation and a self-starter attitude. In many ways this role functions as the business owners partner and the key need is to free up the owner to focus on creativity, strategy and growth.

You will work as partner to CEO to achieve:

Company goals and priorities

Increase leads and conversions through most cutting edge and cost effective strategies

Ensure timely implementation for all marketing strategies

This role also requires ruthless time management, excellent planning skills and the ability to lead and inspire others to achieve a common goal.


Specific Tasks and Responsibilities:

Set up/optimize social media presence as necessary to acquire new customers and clients..., and manage traffic paid traffic strategies for Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, Twitter

Establish a content marketing strategy that enhances brand authority and generates free, organic traffic...

Optimize search networks - specifically Amazon, but also Google, Pinterest etc., so the brand can both be found and accurately represented..

As necessary, set up lead pages, including all corresponding auto-responders, thank you pages and necessary downloadable products.

Learn the various systems and software we use to run the business, as is necessary to perform the role.

Build and monetize large email subscriber lists in a way that adds value to the subscribers

Track and measure the key metrics that matter, and make future strategic decisions based on the data

Maintain monthly budget and revenue projections for each product.

Participate in weekly virtual staff meeting.

Interface with and delegate to other team members as necessary to accomplish role.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience in specific ecommerce marketing, optimization and conversion strategies a major plus.

Experience in all facets of social media, traffic generation tools, online marketing and

Well-developed interpersonal skills. Ability to get along diverse personalities.

Discerning judgment, willing to stand up for best use of company’s time and financial resources.

Resource management experience essential.

Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.

A complete office set up with high speed internet connection is essential.

This is a part-time position offering 10 - 20 hours per week. This position will allow you to work virtually from your own home office:

The ideal person for this role is very energetic, results-driven and is more of a finisher than a starter.

Has worked with physical products business

Is willing to learn and maintain skills outside of the job

Excited to be a part of someone else’s vision, the ideal candidate is more enthusiastic about being in charge of getting things done than they are driven to pursue their own creative ventures.

The ideal candidate has at least five years’ experience in the online information marketing world, direct response marketing, ecommerce, web programming, coaching/consulting industry, business management, project management and is comfortable with a rapid paced, ever changing work

This role will work very closely with a very creative, fast-moving entrepreneur who expects their team to be at the top of their game. Must be willing to work different hours, handle fires, and learn new technologies/marketing techniques when required for growth.
