Structural Packaging Designer OR Engineer

Functions and responsibilities:
• Develop “idea-to-shelf” packaging concepts.
• Collaborate with all tea ---------- mbers including mostly, marketing, sales, project management, graphic and product design.
• Prepare preliminary to final dies and specs to obtain prices from suppliers (CAD, BOM, specs) and launch production.
• Optimize retail packaging dimensions to reduce freight, labour and material costs.
• Establish pallets and PODs specification according to major retailers (Costco, Sam’s) requirements

Requirements:
• University or college diploma in design/engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of design experience in the field of consumer-packaged goods,
• ideally in the toy industry and in an Asian manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Illustrator and Excel software. SolidWorks a plus.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment which requires a certain ability to adapt.
• Positive, “can-do” attitude.
