OVERVIEW:
The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for ensuring all marketing needs of ecommerce accounts and projects are being met. Distribu Clic manages its own ecommerce accounts and help manage client accounts by providing services such as marketing services. The Marketing Project Manager ensures all marketing needs for projects and accounts, are being well managed through proper and timely follow ups and coordination with different members of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
PROJECT MANAGEMENT :
- Attend project briefing to understand what the department responsibilities, timing and due dates, capacity needed, and tea
- Daily checking and follow up with Marketing tea
- Ensure all tasks have assignee, estimated time, and assigned to a project.
- Identify estimated time for each task in each project versus actual time spend to complete. Report to Lead Project Manager at the end of the project.
- Coordinate with partner agency (Generation eCom) and provide support for their marketing needs.
- Be the point of contact of partner agency (Generation eCom) Project Managers for communicating new tasks, directives, and
- Check marketing materials for brand alignment.
- Deep understanding of branding of the account or brand involved in the task. Familiarize the organization's brand ideals and website to create marketing strategies that support their objectives and desired identity.
- Review and approve department processes and marketing materials from content and design team.
- Stay up-to-date with marketplace marketing policies and strategies. Allocating 1 hour per week for knowledge expansion (read Amazon news, marketplace policies, etc.).
- Review competitor websites to compare their activities with those of your company
STRATEGY AND MARKETING EXPERTISE
- Provide directives on
- Supervise Social Media Management and suggest strategies on social media marketing activities on several platforms including but not limited to
- Support team by working on marketing activities when manpower is limited.
COLLABORATION
- Work with co-project managers handling product launch projects to ensure you are up-to-date with changes and decisions made.
- Support eCommerce accounts by ensuring all their marketing needs (except Amazon PPC) are being met.
- Collaborate with Wholesale department to identify special marketing projects.
- Get involved with leadership projects to enhance department processes.
- Contribute and suggest marketing strategies.
ASANA TASK/PROJECT MANAGEMENT
- Asana task management for Marketing team. Ensure all instructions given have respective Asana task, assignee, due date, and estimated time.
- Daily checking of each member’s task at the start of shift and 1 hour before shift ends. Ensure that follow ups are being made, tasks are being completed on time, reasonable time extensions are given depending on project timelines.
- Report any changes with member workload to your line manager and express the need for additional people if
- Attend Project Briefings
- Team huddles for every project started and completed
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 years project management experience
- Familiarity with Asana
- 3-4 years of experience with marketing management
- Has a deep understanding of brand strategy
- Ability to conceive fresh and appealing ideas for new content that establishes or supports the company's brand identity
- Basic technical knowledge of MS Office, Google Apps.
- Strong skills in creating marketing content that targets a specific audience and meets company objective
NON-NEGOTIABLE QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal communication skills with a good command of the English language
- Advanced written communication skills and an ability to read copy in English
- Employment exclusivity, no other work
- Willing to split work schedules between afternoon and night shift (until 11PM) PH time.
