Senior Software Engineer

We're looking for Remote Senior Software Engineers who are passionate in developing high-quality applications and delivering fast, testable and scalable code. Successful candidates will work closely with managers from IT and business teams of a leading international online retailer headquartered in Australia.

Responsibilities

Design and develop high-quality frontend and/or backend systems
Participate in all aspects of development including writing code, test automation, manual testing, troubleshooting, and production support
Participate in all areas of the SCRUM process
Analyze, improve and maintain existing software applications
Implement software development best practices to deliver fast, scalable, and testable code
Discover defects as well as areas that can be optimized and implement improvements

Qualifications

Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related fields
Minimum 4+ years’ experience in Software Engineering

Significant development experience in one or more of the following platforms/ technologies:
- C# .NET (MVC, WebAPI, DotNet Core)
- T-SQL and SQL Server
- Web Development using React

Additional required skills and experience:
- Unit Testing
- Code Review
- Design Patterns and Design Principles (DRY, KISS, SOLID, etc.)
- RESTful Web Services
- Design of high-load, object-oriented multi-tiered systems
- Microservice Architecture
- Amazon Web Services
- Azure Platform and Services
- UML as a Sketch
- Use Case Modeling

Experience in e-Commerce, technology, marketing industries will be advantage
Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
