Job Description:

This position is for a growing startup located in Vancouver, Canada.
We are looking for a smart, talented and focused individual to not only join our team but become a part of our family.

We require a very experienced english content writer.
Your level of written English needs to be very good, and you must be fully confident in your ability to produce high quality written content on time.

We are not looking for someone to write or spin low quality content for articles, blogs, etc. If that is the typical content you have written or do write this job will not be right for you.


We care about quality, attention to detail and very well thought out and structured written content.
We do prefer someone that has a college or university degree and truly enjoys writing high quality unique content.

We are an internet marketing company therefore many of our topics will be within the field of digital marketing, seo, social media marketing, ppc, web development, etc.
Having a working knowledge of the industry will be very important for you to succeed and excel.
We don't expect perfection and we are happy to train you, but you must already have a strong understanding of the business niche.

The type of content you will be expected to write is the following:

- eBooks
- White Papers
- Blog Posts
- High Quality Articles
- Website Copy (We build a lot of very high quality websites)
- Email Copy (For auto-responder email marketing)
- Email Newsletters
- Social Media Content and Posts
- Product Guides


Our typical workflow that you will follow:

- You will research a topic based on our criteria, then write quality content based upon the specifications issued to you.


- You will be given source content to review.
You will need to read and understand the content and then re-write it based upon our required specifications.

- You will be issued an ebook, white paper, etc and be required to re-write it creating a higher quality, unique product.
You will be given a framework to follow based upon our needs for each topic, document, etc.

We understand writing high quality content is a time consuming process; but we require those with exceptional skills only.
The only way to truly write high quality content is that you have enough experience already.
If you can work under deadlines and still create the highest quality writing we would like you to apply for this position.


Skills and Qualifications:

- College and or University Degree
- Very strong english reading comprehension
- Very strong written english skills
- We will often speak with your over Skype therefore you must have superior level of spoken english.
- Minimum 2 years of experience writing high quality written content
- Strong internet and computer skills
- Very strong researching skills online
- You must be highly focused and motivated to achieve targets and goals

- We typically pay salaries monthly via Paypal or Western Union, it's your choice.
If you require being paid bi-weekly we have no problem doing that for you after your first 30 days of employment with us.

- All new staff will be under a probation period for their first 90 days.
I honestly wish we did not need to have a policy of 3 month probation, but unfortunately we have had challenges in the past where certain employees were not ethical.

- After your 3 month probation period we are happy to offer you health care coverage.
We will pay for both the employee and employer contribution amounts.

- At 6 months all new staff members which have excelled within their positions will have the opportunity to receive a salary increase based on performance and work attendance.
At this time we also review your performance to determine if a promotion in our company has been earned.

- We honor the 13 month bonus to all staff which have been employed for at least 11 months prior to Dec of the year.

- We also offer training to allow you to further improve your skills via online video training with services such as Lynda.com, teamtreehouse, etc.

- We believe in trusting our staff and employees, we do not micro manage or force you to work all night so that you are awake during our daytime in Vancouver, Canada.

You can work whenever is the most productive for you, but we expect honor, honesty and focused work delivered.
