I would like to build my own home at Muscat (Oman). I have a plot of 400 sqm and I want to build an area of 400 sqm (2floors). I understand that the design should be in Arabic style which I will provide you with some guidance throughout the planning. This work need a lot of communication and co-ordination between all parties (myself and all designers). Through communication we will avoid a lot of mistakes and overlapping. As this house is going to be my family home for the rest of my life, I will go to very tiny details in a way that assures all my requirement have been met.
General requirement:
Ground floor: setting room, Majlis (Arabic term that refers to a room designated for guests with private and independent entrance),1 bedroom, lift and kitchen
First floor: main bed room, 2 bed rooms, sitting room
Pent house: housemaid room, services room (laundry, ironing)
Please see the following considerations:
1- Arabic design is to be consider to assure house privacy.
2- Double height at the entrance.
3- Schematic design and plot basic study
4- full set of architectural plans, elevations, sections.
5- Structural design drawings.
6- Furniture layout.
7- 3D rendered image of exterior design of all sides.
8- Lighting design for all elevations.
9- MEP drawings.
10- Detailed electrical drawings (sockets, switches, ACs, Cameras, speakers).
11- Detailed drawing with plant proposal selection.
12- landscaping.
I’m not in hurry to finish this work, what I request is the candidates’ dedication, innovation and creativity to come up with a complete design. If you have done any architecture design before, please show me.
Whatever Payment we agree on will take place as follows:
1- 10?vance payment to start the work.
2- 25?ter architecture plans approval.
3- 25?ter 3D design approval.
4- 40 ?ter completed design handover.
