JOB OVERVIEW

Speak Your Truth ( ---------- ) are a marketing consultancy agency based out of Brisbane, Australia entering a period of national growth and currently bringing a number of key specialised staff on in full time, part time and freelance roles.

One of these roles is the Virtual Assistant for our Director. The role will be part time but can become a full time role for the right applicant.

1) Required Skill Sets:

• Research processes and make recommendations around a wide range of options online to source best prices and deals on advertising, printing, online research and data collection
• Data entry - collating lists of specific websites and contact details via Google searches and more
• Strong analysis and planning skills – the ability to think ahead
• Strong project management skills
• Basic website maintenance and updating (wordpress, shopify) skills
• Strong mailchimp email set up and mail-chimp contact management skills
• Good social media posting (developing and maintaining calendars), up keep and channel management skills
• Strong skills in all Microsoft Office Suite programs
• Proficient in data management and maintenance with the ability to learn to use new software (if needed).
• Excellent English language copy writing and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in GSuite tools: Google Docs. Slides and Sheets - management and organization + Dropbox
• Document meeting minutes, create action items and assist the client with following up on those action items via weekly meetings
• Manage Clients appointments, basic tech management Strong skills in program management including updating and maintaining lists, campaign timelines and more
• Proficiency and keenness to learn new things and take on a wide range of general administrative duties including:

Drafting emails
Appointment Setting
Data Entry
Email Management
Personal Assistant
Project Coordinator
Quality Assurance
Recruitment Assistant
Research
Transcription
Travel Planning

2) Extra Skill Sets;

All of the below will be looked upon EXTREMELY favourably when considering the right applicant so please BE SURE to highlight in your cover letter AND PROVIDE EXAMPLES OF any skills you may have from the list below:

• Graphic Design
• Video Editing
• Website Content Updating
• Copy writing Skills
• Experience in Social Media Advertising; particularly using Facebook Business Manager to :

1) Develop and test content on different audiences and reporting results back using conversion data
2) Basic graphic design skills for social media adverts as well writing copy for social media adverts
3) basic video editing / creation skills - both from scratch as well as using existing content (animation a plus)

• Bid advertising experience on SEM (Search Engine Marketing), Facebook, Instagram,
• Knowledge & experience in SEO & SCO best practices
• Well-versed in Xero program use
• Program management software experience
• Experience creating conversion-driven websites and landing pages for small businesses

3) You Will Have:

• Strong portfolio and at least 2 years previous VA experience
• High level of integrity, work ethic, autonomy, professionalism and self-motivation
• Excellent writing and language skills
• Clear and timely communication skills
• Your own lead, mind and ideas within the context of performing duties to the absolute best of your ability
• The ability to intuitively think for yourself around what it is the client is looking for
• An established briefing system for the Director
• PRIDE in your work and what you do, and belief in why you do it

This role will be part time but can become a full time role for the right applicant. To begin with there will be a minimum of 20 hours a week work.
