Videographer

Speak Your Truth ( ---------- ) are a marketing consultancy agency based out of Brisbane, Australia entering a period of national growth and looking to bring a number of key specialised staff in full time, part tie and freelance roles on board.

One of these roles is an Videographer capable of managing a range of clients and projects.

Skill Sets required for the role include:

• Understand how to structure a video in order to get the attention of a viewer, and convert the viewer into an interesting prospect
• Understand the fundamentals of branding: someone able to provide the right tone, text, music text overlay and subtitles where required and can communicate effectively
• Ability to take footage from existing (copyright owned by the client) videos on youtube, Vimeo, etc. and piece them together to create NEW short videos as needed
• Can compile raw footage into 30 seconds to a 3-minute promo video's for companies, events, short biographies, etc.
• Very detail-oriented and able to identify quality issues in audio and video
• Proficient at storyboarding, scripting, and concepting: creating storyboards and working together with the client or the team where required
• Creating videos, motion graphics and animation a HUGE plus
• Creating videos for various media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, presentations & Google Ads
• Extremely capable tech-wise but is intuitive, intelligent and can read the mood of the content.
• The ability to source and place the appropriate music and sound tracks to the appropriate video content

Minimum Requirements:

- Maintains excellent writing and language skills - clear and timely communication is a MUST
- Strong and highly creative portfolio.
- High level of integrity, work ethic, autonomy, professionalism and self-motivation
- Displays the ability to effectively communicate information and ideas that translate from written to video format.
- God technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly (if the client provides).
- Proficient with Video Editing Software (Adobe Premiere or Final Cut Pro)
- Experience with Adobe After Effects or Motion IS a HUGE plus
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator

NOTE: Or if you’re more efficient and effective at using other editing software, please highlight your preference in your application.

Take note that starting payment will be $10 AUD per hour but will rise in accordance with a proven track record of good work and can also rise via way of bonuses based upon client needs and projects.

This is freelance work but will be ongoing for years for the right person.
