Property Maintenance Coordinator (Part-Time, After Hours)

Bay Property Management Group, LLC is seeking a part-time experienced maintenance coordinator to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for taking after hours phone calls. This is a primarily customer-service oriented role and will require liaising with tenants, property owners, and other constituents. You will not manage any staff for this role.

What You Do
• Work Part-time: Average work of 5-10 hours each week you are on-call. They will be reporting every other week.
• Must be available to take phone calls from Monday to Friday (4:00PM EST to 7:30AM EST) and all weekend
• Handling maintenance issues and interacting with tenants, property owners and vendors
• Creating work orders and following up to make sure repairs are done
• Providing the property manager with an FYI email, in the event that the repair was not completed, so that they can continue to work on it

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• High school diploma
• Impeccable customer service skills
• Previous experience as a maintenance coordinator is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and write professionally in English
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel
• Ability to read and create spreadsheets
• Able to problem solve independently and think quickly
• Able to handle tense and emotional customers professionally
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Knowledge of basic home repair and maintenance issues, such as filter changes, appliances, seasonal cleaning, and other typical issues.
• Extremely thorough and detail-oriented, particularly with email and software systems

Salary: $300 per on-call week
