Video editing

I would like to create a video for YouTube that describes how to locate a rental property in the United States. I am new to this process so I need to know what information you need. I would like to have text appearing on the screen with a small picture in the corner of myself. I will be narrating the video while the words appear on the screen. Please ask any questions about additional information that you need.
