NetSuite Developer

This is a part time position at a fast-growing e-commerce startup. This is a work-from-home position where strong communication skills is preferred. This role will be working closely with our Engineering and Operations Team and the person will report directly to the Managing Partner.

This role aims to support the implementation of NetSuite migration across all departments.


Job Type: Part Time
Salary range: $30 - $50 per hour depending on experience


Position Responsibilities and Duties:

- Provide support and subject matter expertise to users, company employees, contractors, suppliers, or customers.
- Develop and maintain the NetSuite system configuration, including system security, data integrity, customized fields, and workflows.
- Lead report writing and analytics efforts for company financial information
- Lead data and/or related systems integration projects across the company business domain and specific to NetSuite, including implementing BI platforms.
- Perform integrity testing of system upgrades and development releases prior to migration to production.
- Perform hands-on coding work on projects as needed.
- Document business objectives, use cases, business requirements, system specifications, workflows, and process documentation.
- Fill functional lead or system expert roles on production and sandbox NetSuite environments and related systems.
- Develop and maintain workflows and processes in NetSuite to optimize the platform.
- Assist in the development of dashboards and operational reports to provide insight for teams, managers, and executives.
- Assist in the maintenance of our integrated platform testing application.
- Evaluate current state, research, and implement effective solution designs to achieve defined business or process objectives.
- Complete additional responsibilities as required.
- Support the Engineering and Operations Lead with any need at the ---------- nt.


Qualities we look for:

- Able to demonstrate with 2 - 3 years experience with the day-to-day technical management of the NetSuite platform.
- Strong NetSuite ERP Development experience
- Hands-on SuiteScript experience to provide back-end customization
- Understanding of common industry-standard business practices in accounting, manufacturing, and warehouse management
- Ability to do independent technical work
- Experience using forms, fields, custom records, and workflows to manage unique business process requirements within the ERP system
- Proficiency with Saved Searches, formulas, reporting, creating Dashboards, creating custom forms and creating workflows.
- Understanding of NetSuite ERP workflow functionality and processes
- Experience generating reports and custom reporting within NetSuite.
- Strong project management, system implementation and system integration experience
- Strong knowledge in automation, system integration of various softwares (Rossum, etc.)
- The ability to manage competing priorities, solve problems quickly, and work independently.

- Excellent in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets
- Familiarity with online meeting applications like Google Meets and Zoom.

- Certified SuiteCloud Developer
- NetSuite Certified
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field in a technical or scientific discipline
