Local Furniture Outlet is seeking experienced logistics and inventory personnel for our e-commerce business division. This candidate will be responsible for processing orders, tracking shipments, and managing inventory. Our primary objective is to ensure Local Furniture Outlet is a fun and easy place to shop by providing superior service and the best shopping experience possible. Experience in the home furnishing industry is preferred. This is a great position for somebody who is looking to join a rapidly growing company.
Duties Include:
• Process new orders
• Analyze freight/shipping quote(s) to maximize profitability
• Process Purchase Orders for accuracy
• Process and receive shipments
• Ensure all freight documentation is correct
• Communicate with vendors and/or shipping partner(s) to schedule pick ups
• Communicate with vendors through multiple channels (phone,
• Follow orders step by step through the process to ensure they arrive at the customer(s) home in a timely fashion
• Analyze and fix inventory issues on a monthly basis
• Analyze and address warranty issues in a timely and accurate manner
• Use knowledge of claim inquiry
• Maintain strong business relationships with client and other claims personnel
• Maintain well-documented notes, to be read and understood by not only claims but also staff
• Analyze complex damages
• Acknowledge purchase orders, bill of lading, and other documents for accuracy.
• Perform any other duties requested by management
Requirements:
• 2 years experience managing shipments
• 2 years experience managing inventory
• Computer Literacy: Proficient in web navigation and
• Presentation: Friendly, outgoing attitude with the ability to gain rapport with prospective clients.
• Strong verbal communication: Clear English-speaking voice.
• Excellent written communication: Spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Positive attitude.
• High School Diploma minimum.
• Ability to maintain a professional & a courteous demeanor at all times.
• Strong internet connection.
• Able to work within the hours of 8 AM to 9 PM US CST
• Able to work weekends
• Must be committed to a full-time job with no additional project going past 10 hours a week.
