Full Time Writer for Health Site

I am looking for a full-time writer for ---------- . It’s a website that specializes in all things at home health (at-home DNA kits, blood tests, pet DNA tests, etc). Your tasks would be:

-Writing new articles, both informational and affiliate articles
-Reoptimizing old articles - fixing readability issues and updating any out of date info
-Helping generate new content ideas
-Tons of other odds and ends that go along with monetizing a site in the health space (updating affiliate info, helping me internal link pages, help me manage the team of freelancers that help write for the site).

The best employee would be someone who is terrific at writing, a hard worker, and is able to take direction easily! Editing experience or managing a team of freelance writers would be a positive as well.

Tools that would be great if they have experience in (but I can train them if they don’t):

-WordPress
-Gutenberg (WordPress backend)
-SurferSEO
-Ahrefs (keyword research)
-Grammarly

You must be able to write in English (United States) vernacular, this is something I can’t train.

Please send samples of your writing, if you can send content written for websites around health or affiliate-type content, this would give me the best idea if you would work. I won’t consider your application if you do not send me your portfolio in the first message.

Hiring process:

1.You send me your application with a cover letter and portfolio.
2. I’ll review all of these and narrow down to 3-5 people.
3. I’ll give you a test article to write (I’ll pay you for this).
4. I’ll interview

I am looking for someone to help us out long-term, so I’m willing to take a while to hire someone - and test their writing ability extensively (but pay you for this). Other people in the Philippines that have worked with me have been with me for 3+ years, so I really want someone who is going to learn our writing and work style and start helping out.
