I'm looking for someone to help writing and web projects for a group of attorney websites. There are currently 3 websites that require ongoing management, and I'm hoping to add a few more in the coming months.
I expect that roughly 10 hours per week should be sufficient for the current number of clients and projects. If we add more clients, there will likely be opportunity for more hours per week. Most of the tasks are related to assigning article topics to writers and making sure the articles come back on time, and assigning some basic tasks to website developers.
This is a rough task list of what needs to happen for each site every month:
- Determining what topics should have articles written based on the practice area, and google search term data that will be provided
- Assigning topics to writers and making sure the articles are delivered on time (either a single 3000 word article, or two 1500 word articles per month)
- Passing the articles to a website manager to be added to the site and formatted
- Double checking the article appearance on the site
- Notifying SEO specialist about new articles and web content
- Contacting web developer and providing updates for minor site revisions and projects
There will also be tasks that happen on a less frequent basis as needed:
- Contacting law schools to find new writers
- Researching information about existing law firms
The ideal candidate will have experience working with a team on multiple assignments at once. Legal experience (legal researcher, paralegal, law school, etc.) is preferred.
Payments will be made by PayPal and can either be made monthly or bi-monthly.
To apply, please send the following:
- a cover letter explaining why you think you would be a good fit
- a resume
- salary requirements for 10 hours/week
- Skype name and a time (Manila Timezone) that works for a quick call the week of January 4th-8th
