Video Editor

I'm looking for a skilled video editor to edit YouTube videos for our company.

This is a full time position (40 hours/week), and you'll be editing videos for 2 of your YouTube channels, as well as creating short versions of those videos to use on social media, and creating Facebook and Instagram video ads.

You'll be required to take each video we send you and perform the following tasks:
- Edit out mistakes
- Add in transitions and effects
- Add in image overlays and text
- Create some motion graphics (see the channel Andrew Hubbard above for examples)
- Lower thirds & titles
- Cuts, zooms, highlights etc.
- Clean up audio
- Add music
- Do colour grading if needed

Other important skills:

- Clear, timely communication
- Ability to work to agreed deadlines
- Creativity

You'll be asked to complete a test project to start with (this is a paid trial). The successful applicant will be offered a full time position with us.

You'll be working from your own home, and will be required to have your own equipment to work with. A fast computer and fast, stable internet connection are essential.

We are based in Canberra, Australia and you'll need to be able to work during Canberra, Australia business hours. There is some flexibility here, as long as we have plenty of overlap during the day.
