Senior Software Engineer

What you gotta do:

- Build customer-facing apps for the platform
- Translate mockups and prototypes into working code
- Work closely with UX designer to continuously improve user experience
- Build clean, maintainable, flexible APIs

Our ideal candidate has:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 3-5+ years of software development experience
- Proficiency in fundamental front-end languages, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Proficiency in one or more JVM languages, e.g., Java, Kotlin, Scala, Groovy
- Good working knowledge of RDBMS, e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
- Takes the initiative to learn and build expertise
- Familiarity with modern JS libraries / frameworks, e.g., React, Angular, Vue
- Familiarity with JVM libraries / framework, e.g., Spring, Hibernate, JPA
- Experience with NoSQL databases
- Experience with REST / GraphQL
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design
- Experience building cross-platform apps
- Experience with event-driven and messaging systems
- Working knowledge of AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
