Experienced Accountant Wanted

We need a full-time permanent Property Accountant to work supporting our operations. You don't need to have direct experience in property accounting but you will be an experienced accountant that can learn.

This is a full-time position. Mondays to Fridays - 11am - 8pm (including 1 hour break) (Sydney, Australia local time). Excellent pay for the right candidate.

The role and responsibilities
- Xero bookkeeping
- excel/google sheets
- Tenant rent tracking and arrears management software
- Property by property profit tracking
- Rental administration (ledgers, bond repayment calculations, tenant enquiries)
- Contact with tenants to chase arrears (email, text)
- Contact with external accounting firm to assist them with compliance and tax activities

Desired technical skills and experience:
- Australian bookkeeping
- Xero
- Property management software such as (propertyme/ propertytree etc) (not necessary and can be taught)
- Excel
- Whatsapp

Other skills:
- excellent English communication skills
