JOB OVERVIEW

We are an IT Managed Services Provider with a focus on CyberSecurity and we are looking for an IT Specialist. You will take escalation calls from the helpdesk and provide approvals or assistance as needed. Understanding and maintaining our systems and having the ability to troubleshoot users' problems and provide excellent customer service are essential to succeed in the job.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitor dashboards and systems for events and take action based on alerts
• Monitor and tune our remote monitoring and management system for OS and application patching
• Monitor and respond quickly to incoming requests related to IT issues that are escalated by the helpdesk and NOC
• Setup and maintain computer systems and provide the necessary support, PC and Mac
• Support and deploy PC’s, printers, servers, firewalls, switches and related equipment
• Develop automation to setup and deploy workstations
•Manage the inventory of all equipment, software, and licenses

SKILLS:
• Advanced skills troubleshooting computer and network troubleshooting skills
• Resourcefulness and quick-thinking nature to troubleshoot new and critical technical issues as they arise
• Ability to deploy, configure, and support operating systems on desktops and mobile devices
• Experience with Windows server and Active Directory.
• Experience with Hyper-v and VMware and cloud solutions like Azure and AWS are a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Administration
• Strong drive to provide excellent customer service and experience, with an ability to prioritize tasks and time
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly detail-oriented
• Familiarity with Active Directory – creating and deleting accounts
• Familiarity with joining machines to active directory domain
• Azure AD Connect usage is a plus
• Ability to work independently and with technical team

Requirements:
• Must have at least 4-5+ years of solid experience in IT service and help desk environment and handling escalations
• Must have A + and Hardware + certification or equivalent
• Must have working knowledge on the following: Ticketing systems, RMM, Microsoft 365 (administration, installation & troubleshooting), Active Directory and Group Policy, and Windows Server and Windows 10, MacOS
• Must be available 40 hours per week GMT –8 schedule and not have any other commitments that interfere with a full-time career

Must have schedule flexibility and the ability to work overtime
