Programming scripts for automating tasks

Hello there,
we are currently looking for an experienced programmer who is able to create some scripts for us to automate tasks.
Python might be the best language for that but we would also be open to other programming languages. As long as you know what you are doing in your preferred programming language, that is fine for us.
Those scripts will be needed to automate tasks like creating google/excel sheets based of data available on the internet and so on.
