Software Test Engineer

Location: Cebu City, Philippines (work from home)

Bitaccess is a venture backed (Y Combinator, California) software company headquartered in Ottawa, Ontario.

We currently have two remote engineers working in Cebu City, PH. They have been with us for over a year and are well integrated into the team. We are looking for a candidate located close-by to continue to increase our PH footprint.

Job Description:

Bitaccess’s financial services software is best in class, and is updated constantly. We ship code weekly, daily, and sometimes hourly depending on the schedule. We require an engineer to work with product teams to ensure that tests are completed, and no regressions occur in production. Given that this is a financial services product, there can be no errors.

The tester will be in charge of writing test cases for both user interface, as well as backend applications. User interface testing should be completed through a suitable framework (ex. Selenium), and backend testing through the respective test suite (Django and Node.js are used).


Qualifications:
2+ Years software test experience
Experience with Django test frameworks
Experience with Browser test frameworks (ex. Selenium)
Experience working with remote teams a plus
